Privacy Policy

This is what nodConsole keeps about you, where, and why. The short of it: what your team shares is on our server; what is only yours to run things with stays on your Mac.
On our server
- Your account: your name, email address, and your password (stored only as a hash we can't read back). If you sign in with Google or Apple, the account id they give us.
- Your teams: their names, who is in them and in what role, and invitations.
- What the team works on: projects (name, key, repository address), tasks, their descriptions, comments and pictures, and the team's messages.
- Workflows and runs: the workflows you draw, their schedules, and a record of each run — when it ran, how it went, and what each step said at the end.
- Sign-in sessions: which devices are signed in, until they sign out or expire.
- Feedback you send from the app: what you wrote, a picture of the nodConsole window at that moment unless you leave it out, and what the app adds so we can find the problem — the page you were on, the versions of nodConsole, macOS and your agents, and the last errors the app met. The picture shows whatever that window showed, so look at it before you send. Write to info@nodconsole.com to have a report deleted.
We keep this to run nodConsole and for nothing else. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
If you asked to hear when nodConsole is out
The form on nodconsole.com and nodconsole.cloud keeps your email address, the language the page was in, and when you asked — nothing else, not your IP address or browser. We use it for one thing: to write to you when nodConsole can be downloaded. We keep it until then, and delete the list once that mail has gone out. To be taken off before that, write to info@nodconsole.com.
Only on your Mac
- Where your projects are on disk, and the copies a run works in.
- Your chats with the agents on your Mac.
- The keys you give nodConsole — for GitHub, for APIs, for connected services — in your Mac's Keychain.
These never go to our server — except what is in the picture of the window, when you send feedback with one.
Google data, if you connect a Google account
You can connect a Google account on the Connections page and pick which parts nodConsole may use. Google then shows you the exact permissions before you allow them, and nodConsole asks only for the parts you picked. What each part lets nodConsole do, and only when you or an agent you started asks for it:
- Your email address and Google account id (openid, email): to show which Google account a connection is.
- Sheets, Docs, Slides: read, create and edit the spreadsheets, documents and presentations you point it at.
- Drive: only the files nodConsole made or that you opened with it (drive.file) — not the rest of your Drive.
- Calendar: read your calendars and create or change events you ask for.
- Contacts: look up, add and update contacts you ask for.
- Tasks: read your task lists and add or update tasks you ask for.
- Forms: create and edit forms, and read their responses.
- Analytics: read reports from your Google Analytics properties (read only).
- Search Console: read search performance and manage sitemaps for sites you have verified.
- Firebase, BigQuery: read and manage the Firebase projects and BigQuery data you ask about.
Where it is kept. The keys Google gives for the connection (access and refresh tokens) are kept in your Mac's Keychain — and, if you use a nodConsole cloud, in that cloud's own encrypted keychain so its runs can work while your Mac is off. A nodConsole cloud is a server Nodworks runs for you or your team alone; your connections are kept on it encrypted and used only by your own runs. Our main server (api.nodconsole.cloud) takes part only to finish the sign-in and to renew the key: it passes the keys back to you in the same answer and keeps none and logs none. Our server never reads, stores or copies the contents of your Google files, mail, calendars, contacts or other Google data.
Who it goes to. When you or a workflow asks an agent to work with your Google data, nodConsole fetches it from Google on your Mac (or your cloud) and hands it to the AI agent you chose for that job — for example Claude Code, Codex or Cursor — so it can do that job, under that agent maker's own terms. It goes nowhere else. We don't sell Google data, don't use it for advertising, don't give it to data brokers, and nobody at Nodworks reads it unless you ask us to (for example to fix a problem you report) or the law requires it.
No model training. Nodworks does not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
Limited Use. nodConsole's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Stopping it. Remove the connection on nodConsole's Connections page, which deletes its keys from nodConsole; to also withdraw the permission at Google, remove nodConsole at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Others who see some of it
- The agents and APIs you use receive what they are given to work on, from your Mac, under their makers' own privacy policies.
- GitHub and other services you connect see what is done as your account there.
- Our mail provider, Hostinger, sends our mails: codes, password resets, invitations.
- Our hosting provider, Hostinger, runs the server.
- Google and Apple, if you sign in with them; Google also for the Google parts you connect (see Google data).
How long
As long as your account and your teams exist. Deleting something removes it from the server straight away; our nightly backups keep a copy for seven days after that. An account started but never proved with its code is deleted when someone signs up with that address again.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete it, at info@nodconsole.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or KVKK, and can complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by mail.
